Term 4, 2021   VTS Online Course Schedule

By joining this course, you acknowledge your willingness to meet one to one with an AMEP student in their home.  The first week of term is set aside for you to become enrolled and acquainted with Moodle features.  I am in the office Thursday and Friday only and I am willing to assist you with any questions that you might have.  My phone number is 8207 9872 and I can be reached by email at mailto:helene.lechapelain@tafesa.edu.au.

I have set out the programme dates for our course so that you can keep pace. Please understand that the due dates need to be met and the course cannot extend beyond Friday  3rd December 2021.

Considering the readings and on-line activities, it is assumed that you will set aside three hours per week for the completion of the assignment. Due to the size of some video clips, they will take time to download.  Please contact me if you have trouble.

I do understand that some people might have plenty of time available for study, so please advance through the topics at a faster pace. If on the other hand life events disrupt your routine, please let me know.  We can negotiate your progress.  The postings must be lodged before or by the dates provided.

If everything proceeds quickly with your Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Vulnerable Person Related Employment Screening Checks, I would expect you will have the first meeting with your allocated student just before the close of the course around mid-Nov.  Please keep your diary free.

A summary of the student’s details and support materials will be mailed to you prior to the match commencing.  It is assumed that in addition to the weekly two-hour home visit, tutors will need to set aside time for travel and to prepare lessons.

Wishing success with the course.
