ICTICT422 -  Participate in ICT Services

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to apply the principles of service management when working in an information and communications technology (ICT) service desk environment.
It applies to individuals who work in ICT service roles and are responsible for providing ICT service desk support.

In this subject, students will learn to be effective users of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, acquiring skills and understanding of functions and features of these 3 office application. Students will learn to be effective users of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, mastering tasks such as formatting, embedding and many other functions required in the day to day use of office applications.

This subject provides students with the skills and knowledge required to sustain users who run operating systems (OS) and support applications such as Office 2013, 2016 and Office 365 in a corporate or home environment. It applies to individuals who provide frontline support to users and apply technical and specialised knowledge to fault finding and problem solving.

This training course has been constructed to introduce you to DXC Technology and the customer environment. The activities you become engaged in on a daily basis over the next 2 months are all part of your support specialist training for the customer and will help to develop your skills to become a valued member of the team.

At the conclusion of your induction training you will go through a Certification process where you will demonstrate that you have all the skills and knowledge you need to provide effective customer service and request/ incident management for our customers.
