Certificate IV in Library and Information Services
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to deliver customer service, identify customer needs and monitor service provided to customers within a library environment. It includes creating a relationship with customers, identifying their needs, providing excellent customer service and processing customer feedback.
This subject is offered as part of the Certificate 4 in Library and Information Services and provides an intermediary level of skills in the following applications:
Microsoft Word to perform basic word processing operations, including creating and formatting documents, using images, creating tables and printing;
Microsoft Excel to perform basic spreadsheet operations, including creating and formatting spreadsheet, data, incorporating charts and objects, and customising and printing spreadsheets;
Microsoft PowerPoint to create a presentation which includes creating, formatting and adding effects to presentations.
