Development Space

Used for courses that will require workgroup educational leadership approval (PL) before releasing for student use.

Approval will only be given after quality checks have been passed.

These courses:

• are in development
• must ALWAYS be hidden (until moved to delivery category)
• cannot have students enrolled (use "Test Student' role to test as a student)
• have not yet been quality approved
• can only have users added by the highest level role (site support)
• the staff member applying for new / duplicated course will be added as a "Developer" role which
• does not have ability to move course or make it visible
• has most other capabilities as per developer role
• n.b. all other staff listed in the ICT request will be added as with an 'Educator' role
• if new, have all been created based on the LEARN Shell

The only Roles that should be applied to this space are:

• Developer: For developing and testing the course(s)
• Educator: For testing as an educator using the course in their facilitation
• Test Student: For testing as student

Other roles may not have access to the courses - even if they are provided a role in them.
