A

Assignment Extension Help

  1. Select the 'Add submission' button and enter your answer in the space provided.
  2. To add files either drag and drop your file(s) or select the 'Add' icon, browse for your file and then select the 'Upload this file' button.
    • Select the 'Save changes' button when required. Your assignment is considered a draft until it is submitted so you may select the 'Edit submission' button to continue working on it.
    • Ensure you select 'Save changes' again when you are finished.
  3. To submit your assignment extension request, select the 'Submit assignment' button, and then select the 'Continue'.

Things to include

When submitting a request, you should:
  • clearly identify which assignment you want an extension for 
  • explain the reason for your extension request; and 
  • upload any relevant documents to support your request, for example, a medical certificate or a letter from your employer. 
You will be notified via email when your lecturer either approves or declines your request.


Assignment Large File Submission (LFS)

  1. Select the Submit files button below, which will open the Large File Submission (LFS) site
  2. You then have the option to add you file(s) via:
    • drag and drop
    • browse for the file(s)
  3. Select Upload

Note: You will receive an email for each file uploaded, as a confirmation receipt that each file successfully uploaded and has been submitted.


Assignment Offline Help

This assessment does not require you to submit anything via LEARN. Your assessment outcome and any relevant feedback will be recorded here.

You may be required you to:

  • physically hand up something to your lecturer for marking;
  • demonstrate something to your lecturer;
  • be observed performing assessment task(s) and/or asked oral questions associated with those task(s).


Assignment Submission Help

  1. Select the Add submission button and upload your assessment in the space provided.
  2. Select the Save changes button when required.
    • Your assignment is considered a draft until it is submitted so you may select the Edit submission button to continue working on it.
    • Ensure you select Save changes again when you are finished.
When finished, select the Submit assignment button, and then select the checkbox which acknowledges the work is your own and then select the Continue button to submit your assignment for feedback and assessment outcome.

Assignment Video / Audio Submission Help

  1. Select the Add submission button
  2. Use the YuJa button in the editor Insert Yuja video button in the HTML editor search and select the Audio / Video already in your media folder in Yuja and add to your submission.
  3. Select the Save changes button when required.
    • Your assessment is considered a draft until it is submitted so you may select the Edit submission button to continue working on it.
    • Ensure you select Save changes again when you are finished.
  4. When finished, select the Submit assignment button, and then select the checkbox which acknowledges the work is your own and then select the Continue button to submit your assessment for feedback and an assessment outcome.
Note: If you are also required to add a file(s) with your video, upload the files in the space provided before submitting.

Instructions for using YuJa

You have options to use YuJa to:
  1. record a video - either through the browser or the YuJa Capture app (downloadable)
  2. upload a video already recorded from your device

Assignment with Online Text Help

Instructions

  1. Select the Add submission button and enter your assessment in the space provided.

Book Help

Select the book title link to open the book, then select Next page button (next) and Book previous page button (previous) to move between the pages, found either side of the page content. You can also use the table of contents to jump between pages.

Collaborate Multi-session Help

Join a session by clicking on the 'Virtual classroom' link.  All available sessions / workshops will be listed. 

  1. Find the session you are scheduled to attend and select
  2. The session details window will open, select ‘Join session
You can usually enter the session up to 15 minutes before it is due to start.

Each Collaborate session opens in a new window or tab depending on your browser settings, so you can return to the course at any time - even during a session. 

If the session is recorded, the recording will become available after the session is finished.  Guidance on how to access a recording is available via the TAFE SA current student website.


Collaborate Single Session Help
