Global Tourism is an elective subject within the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management (BTHEM).
This subject will analyse how geographical position, politics, international relationships, cultural and social diversity impact global tourism destinations. Students will explore First Nations globally and their influence on tourism offerings. Students will develop in-depth knowledge and skills to compare and contrasts unique selling points of various international tourism regions and develop multi destination itineraries for travellers, and the international distribution channels impacting global tourism.
